After years as a scrapbooker and a independant scrapbooking sales consultant I have taken my love for paper art and blended it with the classic pinback novelty button. That's right, buttons. They have been around for ever. But who knew there was so much you could do with them? The novelty items I offer go further than just the pinbacks. Imagine the classic button look as a bookmark, key chain, ponytail etc. All of my buttons items can be purchased with my designs (using paper products, fabrics, or digital designs), can be customized to advertise and promote your club, business, school or sports team or simply personalize them with a name. So many ways to say it with a button.

Don't Forget the Family

I just finished a fun custom order for a local lady. She is helping with her family reunion this summer and is in charge of a game. She wanted to have some way for family members to get reacquainted and mingle. So here's the basic idea. She had me make up 12 buttons, each with a different Pirate themed item on it. There are 12 people selected to place one of these pins in a visible, but not obvious, place on them. Everyone has to walk around meeting each other and try to find the 12 different people with the pins. I thought this was such a fun idea and I loved coming up with the Pirate pins for her.

Don't forget the family reunions and the possibilities that can come with a custom pin, magnet, key chain etc. Contact me with any questions about Custom Orders. Pin items available in 1-1/4" and 2-1/4".

Genealogy -It's a Family Thing

Now that the Roots Tech key chains are all finished and sent on their way, I thought I would post the other designs that I came up with. It was fun to play with these. As for the Roots Tech, I hope everyone has a wonderful time.

Genealogy KC Roots Tech

Custom Key Chains

I just finished this batch of key chains for an event that my amazing sister is putting together in Missouri. It's a genealogy conference and it looks to be huge. A 2-day conference with 50 presenters from different genealogy technology companies and organizations. She has been working like crazy every day for the past few months and I wish I could be there to learn more and support her in this. I hope everything goes well and she has great success with this. You can check out the web page for the conference here.

Quilts, Quilts, Quilts!!

Over the years I have become completely fascinated with quilts. I love to piece quilts, I love the feel of the fabrics and love the colors. This fascination has lead to numerous quilt classes taken and many, many quilts started. Part of what has made this so much fun was the women that taught these classes, Heidi and Kay. They have a true love for what they do. Recently, these two ladies opened their own shop here in Kaysville,  K & H Quilt Shoppe

I decided that it would be fun to find some quilt phrases and put them on buttons. I took this idea to Heidi and she loved it. So here is a sample of what is now going to be available in their shop.
